Bio-D3 Plus capsule is a health supplement used for the treatment and prevention of calcium and Vitamin D deficiency. It is also used as supportive therapy for conditions such as osteoporosis where the bones become weak due to low calcium levels. Bio-D3 Plus capsule contains calcium and calcitriol (a form of Vitamin D3) as active ingredients. Calcium is necessary for the normal functioning of nerves, cells, muscles and bone. Around 90% of Vitamin D is formed under our skin when we are exposed to the sun. So along with the diet and supplement, sun exposure at least twice a week for 10-15 minutes can help prevent Vitamin D deficiency.
