Ceracue Cream is a moisturizer which is used to treat dry skin. It works by preventing water loss from the outer layer of the skin. This relieves dryness and leaves the skin soft and hydrated. Ceracue Cream is for external use only. Use it exactly in the dose and direction as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the medicine. Use it regularly to get the most benefit from it. Avoid applying on open wounds or infected skin. You should not get it in the eyes, mouth, or nose. Rinse thoroughly with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas. Use of the medicine may cause stinging pain, burning, and itching on the application site. These are usually mild and resolve on their own. However, if these do not get better, consult your doctor to know about ways to treat or prevent them in the future. It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction.
