Read the instructions thoroughly before using the medicine. It is usually administered in two doses. One in the evening before colonoscopy. And a second dose 10 to 12 hours after the first dose and in the morning of colonoscopy, at least 3 and half hours before the colonoscopy. Use of this medication can cause a few common side effects such as abdominal distention, bloating, nausea, abdominal cramps, and vomiting.
