Eptus Tablet is used for the treatment of high blood pressure and also helps to reduce the risk of heart-related complications in adults with chronic heart failure. It contains a medicine known as eplerenone. It works by blocking the effect of aldosterone, a hormone in the body responsible for maintaining the water and salt balance. This medicine may increase potassium levels in your blood and produces side effects like muscle cramps, diarrhoea, nausea, dizziness and headache. Planep 25mg tablets , Eplehef 25mg tablets , Eplebless 25mg tablets , Epnone 25mg tablets and Exenta 25mg tablets are a few more medicines with the active ingredient eplerenone. Do not take this medicine if you have a history of an allergy, high potassium levels, or kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor about any other medicines you are taking along with it.
