Zytrin 2mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily. It is also used to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland (benign prostatic hyperplasia) in men by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. Zytrin 2mg Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. It can be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. High blood pressure does not usually have symptoms. If you stop taking it, your blood pressure may rise and put you at risk of a heart attack or stroke.
